Course overview
Six Sigma Black Belt is a known technique for process improvement. Strategies related to six sigma seek to improve the output quality of a process by identifying and eliminating causes of defects and minimising variability in business processes. Six Sigma encompasses various quality management methods (empirical, statistical, etc.).
Each Six Sigma project undertaken follows a distinct sequence of steps with specific value targets of reducing process time and costs and increasing customer satisfaction and profits.
What does a Six Sigma black belt do? A Six Sigma black belt possesses a thorough understanding of all aspects of lean six sigma methods, including a high level of subject matter competence with regard to DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control).
Training methodology
Lectures are delivered by experienced professionals, using audio-visual presentations for ease of reference. Two-way participation is ensured through group assignments and activities. Relevant case studies are also discussed to foster relevance to the training content.
Roi methodology (assessment criteria)
- Pre-Training Assessment: to identify the current knowledge and skills of the participants before the training.
- Post-Training Assessment: to measure the improvement in the participants’ knowledge and skills after the training.
Target competencies
- Leadership Skills
- Analytical Skills
- Problem- Solving skills
- Process Mapping
- Error Proofing
- Process- Improvement
Course objectives
